If there’s one thing that’s sure to catch people’s attention, it’s news about freebies and discounts. A good way to catch your customers’ attention is to reward your loyal customers with special discounts and giveaways. You’ve probably wanted to offer your customers discount codes but doing that without a system can be quite tedious.

While building FluidShop, we thought about all the possible problems you might come across while trying to give your customers a full e-commerce experience. We figured that you’d want to occasionally reward your loyal customers with discounts so we built a cool little feature to help you do this.

How to use the FluidShop discount code feature

Step 1

Log into your FluidShop dashboard.

Step 2

Select Shop. On the top right corner, click Settings. Click on the Discount tab on the left and select Create Discount Code on the right-hand side of the page.

You can create your discount codes in two ways:

• Select the Fixed Value option to give a fixed amount discount. E.g a ₦3,000 discount on the items at Checkout. OR

• Select the Percentage option to give a percentage discount. E.g a 15% discount on the items at checkout.

Then select how long you want the discount to be valid for. You can also select the set options or pick an end date manually in the drop-down menu. Click Create Discount.

Voila! You have a discount code to attract new customers and reward your existing customers. All you have to do is copy your discount code and share it with your loyal customers.
