In this post, I’ll be showing you how to add custom fields to your crypto payment links using the Fluidcoins Merchant Dashboard.

Creating Payment Links with Custom Fields

First of all, you’ll need to sign up for a merchant account. Provide a valid email address and set a password. You’ll also have to provide some business information for verification.

After creating your account, navigate to the payments section of your dashboard menu. Make sure the switch at the top is toggled to Payment Link. Once here, click on the New Payment Link button to create a payment link.

You will be prompted to select what this link would be used for (receiving donations or payments for your business). In this case, we would be creating a link for receiving business payments.

The next step is to fill in your preferred details. To add custom fields, you simply click on the Add More Fields. You can add up to 4 custom fields when creating a payment link. What this means is you can accept up to 5 extra bits of information from customers when they want to pay. For example, I’ve created two custom fields (Age, Gender) in the payment link shown in the image below.

Viewing your Payment Link

You can view the payment link you just created by simply clicking on it. Once here, you can copy the link (1), disable the link (2), and also edit the link details (3). You also get 100% visibility into all transactions made to this link.

Now you’re ready to start accepting payments in different cryptocurrencies. You no longer have to keep copying and pasting different crypto addresses. Give your customers seamless payment experiences while receiving key insights into your business in a simplified way.
